The mission of Embracing Our Differences is to use art as a catalyst for creating awareness and promoting, throughout our community, the value of diversity, the benefits of inclusion and the significance of the active rejection of hatred and prejudice. Embracing Our Differences 2012, the 9th annual outdoor art exhibit, will contain 39 billboard-sized original works of art measuring 16 feet wide by 12.5 feet high (4.8768 m wide by 3.8100 m high). Each selection is accompanied by an inspirational quote.
The exhibit will be displayed during April & May, 2012 at Island Park along Sarasota, Florida’s beautiful bay front.

Awards:
Best In Show (Adult): A single $1,000 cash award
Best In Show (Student): A $1,000 cash award. Students high school-age and below will be judged in this category. This prize money will be awarded directly to the student’s school.
People’s Choice: A $1,000 cash award will be presented at the end of the exhibit to the submission that receives the most votes by visitors to the exhibit who complete our survey form
Accompanying the 7th Biennale of Photography in Poznan, acknowledged as one of the most important photography events in Poland, the competition gives the participants an opportunity to show their work to the public and professionals – curators, critics, and gallery owners.
Awards:
The Grand Prix winner will receive a cash prize of 6000 PLN and an invitation to a solo exhibition during the 8th Biennale of Photography in Poznan in 2013.
The First Prize winner will receive a cash prize of 3000 PLN
Exhibition opening and the Award Ceremony: 23rd September 2011.
In each of the 5 main categories there will be a Category winner, 2nd place and 3rd place. All 5 category winners will then be judged to select the overall winner, “Scottish Nature Photographer of the Year”.
In the Student category, there will be a Category winner - “Student Scottish Nature Photographer of the Year”, 2nd place and 3rd place.
In the Junior category, there will be a Category winner - “Junior Scottish Nature Photographer of the Year”, 2nd place and 3rd place.
A B&H gift card ($100 value) and one grand prize winner will receive a B&H gift card ($500 value)
A Sony Nex Camera and one grand prize winner will receive a Sony Alpha Camera kit
A page in the October 2011 issue of PDN, which has a distribution of over 25,000 including over 5,000 influential art buyers, photo editors and art directors
Exposure in The Look contest online gallery hosted by Clickbooq and a Clickbooq annual plan ($588 value)
One grand prize winner will receive a Milk Studios Prize Package worth $5,000.
The 4 winners will be invited to come to Cassis, 1 to July 3, 2011 to participate in the exhibition “Sous les Pas“. Transport and the 2 nights accommodation at site, will be provided.
The winners photos from each category will be published wholly or in part in Photo Magazine.
The main mission of the Canadian International Digital Photography Award is to discover and support new names in professional photography as well as to acknowledge new digital art of the experienced professionals through the International Photography Contest.
