Lightning Storms are one of the most incredible forces of nature. The sheer force of a lightning strike is enough to power a city for months on end but man has not yet learned to harness and store this incredible energy source provided free of charge by nature. Mark Thomas’ income will be affected due to his hospitalization and the fact that he has been unable to be optimally productive in the past couple of weeks. We all know that the recession has hit us hard – and I know you will understand that photographers all over are suffering. Mark was diagnosed with a form of cancer that appears to still have the doctors baffled.
As most of you know – Mark and Elsa Hoffmann have been partners in business for the past – almost- 4 years. Mark has worked with many of you also – Pieter and Mark also run workshops together. Mark has put an immense amount of time into the forums and photographic communities of South Africa – and spent many hours helping others. The fund will be administered by Elsa Hoffmann.
